Hailing from Perth, Australia, Michael Alan crafts beautifully deep, evocative and technically stunning progressive house and trance.
Michael’s music is a blend of trance, house, and film score. With emotion the heart and storytelling the core. His debut remix in 2022 was picked up by Armin Van Buuren, and received support from Above & Beyond, Ferry Corsten and more, so we’re thrilled to release his new track on Positronic.
Michael Alan’s ‘Caldera’ is a dancefloor primed trance journey that pairs a potent drop with euphoric, classic club sounds. Channeling nostalgic trance from the turn of the century: modern music with a classic sensibility.

Jaytech - Omni (ASTRON4UT Remix)
Joining us for the first time on Positronic, Germany-based Daniela Schmidt, ASTRON4UT, debuts with a brand new remix of Jaytech’s early 2026 progressive builder Omni. Recently featured in Jaytech’s guest mix on episode 678 of Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy guest mix, it’s the first of a slew of new music ASTRON4UT has lined up for 2026.

Jaytech - Ageha
Named after the legendary Tokyo superclub where Jaytech made his Japanese debut two decades ago, ‘Ageha’ is a bridge between eras. It serves as a visceral reflection of that first foray into Japanese club culture, capturing a moment in time when driving rhythms and neon-lit atmosphere first collided early in Jaytech’s musical career.
The production is a masterclass in modern progressive house, grounded by tribal percussion and swirling atmospherics that set a cinematic tone. As the track builds, Jimbo introduces a signature mid-section featuring glitchy breakbeats and neuro bass shots, eventually giving way to the soaring progressive trance saws that have made his sound a genre cornerstone for two decades.

Jaytech - Helius
Anyone who’s shared a dancefloor at a Jaytech gig, or met Jimbo himself will know how much positive energy he radiates. It’s unmistakable, and you can hear it woven through the DNA of his biggest hits.
With Helius, Jaytech has manifested insane levels of audible optimism and hope, and it feels good. It’s got ‘sun light on your face’ vibes. The world is what it is, but there is hope all around us. And you can hear it in the chord progression. The vocal chops are angelic, the guitar hook slaps, and the wall of sound after the breakdown needs to be experienced on a big system.

Atmo is a high octane nod to the golden era of the 90s, capturing that fleeting moment when Eurodance morphed into peak time trance. While the track leans into the drama of those early warehouse raves, it keeps the mood lighthearted and quintessentially Jimbo fusing throwback energy with his signature, high end progressive house production.

Omni blends analogue synth driven chords with shimmering pads that slowly open out. Ethereal vocal cuts drift through the track in classic Jimbo style, adding lift, never crowding the mix. The result feels familiar, but not repetitive. Polished, but not overworked.
